AmeriGel Wound Dressing
A hydrogel with an aggressive autolytic debrider. Contraindication: Do not use if there is a known allergy to Oak or Oak Pollen.
AmeriGel Wound Dressing is classified by the FDA as a hydrogel, indicated for
use on "stage 1-IV pressure ulcers, venous statis ulcers, diabetic ulcers, 1st
and 2nd degree burns, post surgical incisions, cuts and abrasions." AmeriGel
Wound Dressing contains Oak extract (Oakin), an astringent derived from
Tannins, which provides antimicrobial, antifungal, anti-inflammatory
properties, as well as an aggressive autolytic debrider.
